Background
Praise be to God. Peace and greet be upon Muhammad, the Prophet of God.
Once Ali bin Abu Thaleb had beedn asked the differences between property and khowledge. Spontaneously he answered that, one thing, the property is going to depreciate and be decreased and missed after usage, while the khowledge is going to be increased after usage.
Far before that, the Prophet Sulaiman was ever confronted to three choices before God: property, power, and science. Between those three, the Prophet Sulaiman took the science. But with that one, he could be the most powerful man on earth with the property of one-third part of earth!
Those two stories above tell how the science becomes imfortant and valuable. So it is fair that Islam makes science as one of base of religion, or, clearly, base somebody in running laws of God on earth. It could be understood if the Prophet Muhammad had ever said the following, “Somebody has no (perfect) religion when he does not use his mind.” The hadits could be interpreted that someone could do nothing without knowledge because khowledge is base of work. Besides, the Holy Koran more appreciate intellectuals those who always use their minds.
Importance of science and knowledge would more be felt nowadays, at globalization era, when those two hold to conduct power of a nation.
The developed nations are those what have ability to process scientific theories into real masterpieses to their own societies, but to international societies. Frankly, the ability to produce the fantastic masterpieces was exasperation to find out anything unknown. The process was done with paying attention to any phenomenon of whether decanted in the forms of written or presented masterpieces. Book is a way to record science and knowledge referred by searching people.
